Dimensions for own purposes to be carried out independently. As always when working with wood, we recommend the domestication it at the place of destination for a period of several weeks. Alder occurs in many different varieties in many regions all over the world. The wood of this tree is used to produce guitar / bass bodies as relatively cheap wood with excellent and versatile sound qualities. About sound, it does not emphasize low frequencies or high, has a very nice base and a wide midrange. Known for years, often also underestimated and treated by many as something too common, ordinary. And quite wrongly, if good wood is relatively readily available and costs a little (it will not cost a little any more…), it should be appreciated and learned to use it. Alder from Poland sounds great, we recommend the Polish alder.
