Intended for guitar, bass guitar body top. The pictures show this particular set of wood. Unsanded, dry and ready to use, dimensions for own purposes to be carried out independently. As always when working with wood, we recommend to store it at the place of destination for a period of several weeks. Everyone, even the most stable type of wood is not indifferent to changes in humidity, temperature and other external factors.

American walnut is a tree found mainly in Eastern North America. The wood has great  appearance and acoustic properties, it is used in musical instruments, eg. in acoustic, electric and bass guitars. Black walnut gives the instrument a very noble appearance, and more importantly it works great as a tonewood. The acoustic guitars are neutral in tone (they do not warm the sound like mahogany and do not give focus and brightness such as maple). Used as a top in electric and bass guitars (or as a body or part of a body) affects long sustain, the sound generated is solid, powerful, not as "soft" as mahogany structures, and not as sharp as a maple. If you think the mahogany is too soft to the sound, and the maple is too sharp and whistling, then the American walnut will ideally work as a gold center. Greatly blends acoustically with ebony fingerboards (eg black walnut body, mahogany neck, ebony fretboard). Black walnut requires surface protection. Finishing with high-gloss clearcoat (with wood pore filling!) will give you incredible look and 3D depth. The alternative oil finish without filling the pores of wood is a noble classic with a nice velvet textures. We recommend for custom basses and guitars.
