The overall width is given, the set consists of 2 separate parts. The wood is pre-sanded and ready to use. Customize your dimensions for yourself. As always when working with wood, we recommend acclimatizing the product to your destination place for several weeks. Everyone, even the most stable species of wood, is not indifferent to changes in humidity, temperature and other external factors.

This variety of Maple (Acer platanoides) occurs naturally mainly in the area of Central and East Europe. Tone properties are analogous to sycamore maple, colour is light with grayish hue (sycamore colour is rather with yelowish hue). As the top of the electric or bass guitar will give classic, delightful nobility to the sound. European maple sounds very good with mahogany, ebony and rosewood in various combinations. Very figured pieces can be finished in a classically clear or slightly amber lacquer or using contrasting stains before lacquering process. Great wood.

Attention:

All varieties of the maple are particularly sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity. Even strong bends of dried and seasoned materials are often encountered when changing climate conditions, making it very difficult to work, precise cutting or glueing. Especially when working with a maple it is important to acclimatize the wood for several weeks in the workshop (dry, heated, ventilated, room temperature). In the case of thinner maple layers, such deformations can be easily mastered, but when using thicker maple layers, it is better to choose a thicker material that, if deformed, could still be devised within the required thickness. This applies to all varieties of the maple, regardless of variety and place of origin.
