The overall width is given, the item consists of 2 separate parts. The wood is pre-sanded and ready to use. Customize your dimensions for yourself. Everyone, even the most stable species of wood, is not indifferent to changes in humidity, temperature and other external factors.

Maple in the sycamore variety occurs naturally mainly in the mountain ranges of Central Europe. For musical instruments making, the best European maples come from the Carpathians – as they say, especially the figured maple (tiger maple, flame maple, curly maple, birds eye maple), the reason is the excellent resonance characteristics and gorgeous look. As the top of the electric or bass guitar will give classic, delightful nobility. This applies to both sound and visual experience. Sycamore maple sounds very good with mahogany, ebony and rosewood in various combinations. Very figured pieces can be finished in a classically clear or slightly amber lacquer or using contrasting stains before lacquering process.

Attention:

All varieties of the maple are particularly sensitive to changes in temperature and humidity. Even strong bends of dried and seasoned materials are often encountered when changing climate conditions, making it very difficult to work, precise cutting or glueing. Especially when working with a maple it is important to acclimatize the wood for several weeks in the workshop (dry, heated, ventilated, room temperature). In the case of thinner maple layers, such deformations can be easily mastered, but when using thicker maple layers, it is better to choose a thicker material that, if deformed, could still be devised within the required thickness. This applies to all varieties of a maple, regardless of variety and place of origin.
