for the purpose of headstock facing. The pictures show this particular item. Surfaces are not sanded. The wood is dry and ready to use. Dimensions for own purposes to be carried out independently. As always when working with wood, we recommend domestication of the product at the place of destination for a period of several weeks. Everyone, even the most stable type of wood is not indifferent to changes in humidity, temperature and other external factors.

Sweet cherry wood is very unique for musical instruments. Why? It is not enough for mass production, tree trunks differ a lot, price is much higher than for other typical tonewoods. But, cherry is a very musical wood. As an alder, it sounds widely, strongly, it doesn’t emphasize nor dampen any frequncy, sounds open. The wood is fine for body, neck and top of a body, it is a little heavier than alder, but not so heavy as African mahogany. We recommend for unique musical instruments.
