Rosewood 4-str Bass Guitar Fingerboard Blank, AAA – the best quality
Wood for bass guitar fingerboard, without any defects cases (unless the description of a specific blank states otherwise), mostly medium-high or high density, mostly very dark brown or very dark violet with violet/ black/ dark brown lines, straight fiber runs along the blank and/ or tide ring spaces. AAA – the best quality blanks are clearly better quality than AA – medium quality blanks, and they are intended for the most demanding players or instrument makers, for top quality and premium instruments. What we have as AAA, you can sometimes find on the Internet as AAAAA, 5A or 10A. Beware of all marketing tricks :)
